Radiology Technical Assistant - Angleton Danbury Campus (up to 19 hrs/wk)
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
High school or equivalent. CPR Certification required.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Registered Medical Assistant/ graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program or current certification as an EMT-Basic from the Texas Department of Health.
EQUIPMENT:
- Standard patient care equipment, supplies and mechanical devices for a selected patient population
- Standard hospital-related office equipment
- Standard imaging equipment
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Work environment is located in office, patient care units and invasive procedure areas.
- May include exposure to hazardous chemicals, blood borne pathogens, communicable disease, radiation and disoriented or combative patients.
- Moderate to extreme physical effort may be required, such as walking, standing,
- Performing CPR, and lifting materials, equipment, objects, and/or patients.
- Occasional lifting may be heavy and awkward, over 50 lbs.
- Rotating shifts or flexible hours may be required to meet operational needs.
