REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree
- Three years of supervisory related experience.
- Four years of IS-related experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (i.e., Epic, Pearl, McKesson, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, Allscripts, GE Healthcare, etc.) and pharmacy related automation, or has pharmacy informatics residency or fellowship training.
- Must possess sufficient educational background and/or experience to conduct clinical application analysis and/or programming of intermediate to complex systems, analysis of clinical workflows, and system adoption strategies. Experience building and implementing EHR protocols in a multi-facility hospital and clinic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree
- Pharmacy informatics residency or fellowship training
Salary is commensurate with years of relevant work experience.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS OR CERTIFICATIONS
Required:
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Texas, or eligible. Licensure must be obtained within 90 days of the start date.
Preferred:
- Epic Willow, Beacon, and/or Clarity Certification
