Pharmacist Informatics Specialist
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in pharmacy; Doctor of Pharmacy preferred
Two years of IS-related experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (i.e. Epic, Pearl, McKesson, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, Allscripts, GE Healthcare, etc), or has pharmacy informatics residency or fellowship training
Experience building and implementing EMR protocols in a multi-facility hospital and clinic environment
Current licensure to practice pharmacy in the state of Texas
Requires strong analytical, organizational, communication and creativity skills in providing the necessary support of complex medication software systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pharmacy Informatics Residency/Fellowship Training
Epic Willow, Beacon, and/or Clarity Certification preferred
