Neurodiagnostic Technologist II - Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) or related program or equivalent. Three (3) years experience performing procedures in area of competence. Credentialed through a UTMB approved agency in R. EEG T., CNIM, or CLTM. Current BLS certification.
Preferred Experience
The ideal candidate will possess CLTM (Certified Long-Term Monitoring) certification in addition to their R. EEG registry.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Epilepsy Surgery patients such as assisting in the operating room with placement of electrodes and monitoring post-surgery recordings from scalp and implanted grid, strip, and depth electrodes.
Schedule:
- Position is 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday, dayshift
- Rotates UTMB Neurodiagnostic locations (Galveston, Clear Lake, and League City)
- Rotates after-hours call (weekday, weekend, and holiday)
