Neurodiagnostic Tech II
Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree from a Commission on Accrediditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) or related program or equivalent. Three (3) years experience performing procedures in area of competence. Credentialed through a UTMB approved agency in R. EEG T., CNIM, R.NCS.T., R. EP.T., or CLTM. Current BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
We prefer the candidate have CNIM (Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring) and/or CLTM (Certified Long Term Monitoring) certifications in addition to their R. EEG registry.
Preferred experience with Epilepsy Surgery patients such as assisting in the operating room with placement of electrodes, and monitoring post-surgery recordings from scalp and implanted grid, strip and depth electrodes.
