GI Endoscopy Technologist – Clear Lake, League City

JOB DESCRIPTION The Endoscopy Technologist is responsible for the handling of equipment, specimen collection and assisting the physician and registered nurse (RN) during the procedure

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years’ patient care and/or hospital patient experience.
  • Basic Life Support.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Surgical Technologist performs direct and indirect technical tasks for patients before, during, and after surgical interventions.

Qualification:

  • High school or equivalent.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Nurse Manager of the Wound Care and Hyperbaric Department, the Hyperbaric Technician- Administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Providers

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Completed the approved Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS, National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology (NBDHMT), Department of Defense or American College of hyperbaric medicine introductory course pre/post hire
  • Maintains current certification as a certified hyperbaric technician (CHT) or certified hyperbaric specialist (CHS). Interim status may be appropriate until CHT or CHS certification is obtained

Cytotechnologist- Galveston

JOB DESCRIPTION: Cytotechnologist provides clinical diagnostic study of cells for the purpose of recognizing and classifying malignant and benign inflammatory and irritative conditions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, and certification as a Cytotechnologist by an approved accrediting agency required, and no experience required.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging Tech – League City & Clear Lake

JOB DESCRIPTION: To provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of magnetic resonance imaging equipment (MRI) to produce cross-sectional images  of patient's body for diagnostic purposes by performing the following duties.

Work Schedule

This position is for up to 19.99 hours per week, with no benefits. Hours will be nights and weekends. May also take call.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Associates degree or radiologic graduate of an accredited radiologic health science program.  ARRTR or ARMRIT registered, and one (1) year of MRI experience or graduate from a MRI training program with minimum of 500 clinical hours of MRI training.

 

Medical Lab Scientist – ADC, Galveston

JOB SUMMARY: Medical Laboratory Scientist, Laboratory Services provides technical skills necessary to perform and report moderate or highly complex laboratory tests within a division of the clinical laboratory.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Clinical Laboratory Science or Basic Science. No experience required.
  • Must obtain certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), American Medical Technologists (AMT), American Board of Histocompatibility or Immunogenetics (ABHI) or equivalent certification as appropriate, within 12 months of hire.
  • Qualifies as Testing Personnel for high complexity testing under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA).

 

Medical Lab Technologist – ADC

JOB SUMMARY: Medical Laboratory Technologist, Laboratory Services provides technical skills necessary in performing laboratory procedures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

JOB DESCRIPTION: Operates radiologic equipment and performs mammography, biopsy, ultrasound and bone density procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease by performing the following duties.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or radiologic graduate of an accredited radiography program.
  • 0-3 years of mammography or other relevant imaging technologist experience highly preferred
  • 8 hrs. initial digital training
  • 8 hrs. initial tomosynthesis training
  • Knowledge of bone densitometry, breast ultrasound and breast biopsy procedures

Vascular Technologist (RVT) Angleton Campus

JOB DESCRIPTION: This position works under limited supervision to provide advanced technical skills in the performance of non-invasive tests used in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease. Responsibilities include performing a full range of non-invasive vascular tests and related duties in patient care and academic/research environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet one of the three following educational/experience requirements plus current BLS certification-

  • Satisfactory completion of a formal vascular technology training program (1-4 years) must be registry eligible with application for current year.

OR

  • Graduate from a diagnostic ultrasound training program (2-4 years) with 1 full additional year of full-time clinical experience in a dedicated vascular lab and registry eligible with application for current year.

OR

  • Approximately two years of college with emphasis on the biological sciences with two years’ experience in a dedicated vascular laboratory and registry eligible with application for current year. Certified as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligible with application in current year.

 

Respiratory Therapist - League City & Galveston

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides competent basic and specialty respiratory care utilizing an interdisciplinary approach and individualizing care to meet unique patient needs.

 Min Qualifications
