Coordinator II, SOM Physician Asst Studies (Onsite)
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent; 3 years related experience.
Job Description:
To manage activities for a project or program.
Job Duties:
- Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of a program directly related to management or general business operation.
- Track/verify/post assignments or assignment-related items including grades, clinical assignments; contact/communicate with sites/students; credential students; confirm licensure of preceptors; and work on other tasks associated with the management of the clinical year.
- Prepare, follow-up, execute, and track affiliation agreements for all active and potential UTMB PA program clinical year sites in a timely manner.
- Gather data for review and analysis of clinical year program and outcomes.
- Adhere to internal controls established for the department and university on the clinical year by accrediting, licensing and other agencies or institutions.
- Type, copy, file departmental correspondence, tests, syllabi, reports, summaries, etc.
- Assist in management of the program’s website and handbooks.
- Assist supervisor in carrying out routine office duties and other activities related to the program, as needed.
- Insures the goals and objectives specified are accomplished in accordance with prescribed priorities, deadlines and funding conditions.
- Provides technical advice to assist in solving problems.
- Serves as resource and subject matter expert.
- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
Marginal or Periodic Functions:
- Performs related duties as required.
Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
