Coordinator II, Residency Training Program, Psychiatry Behavioral Science (Onsite)
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent in related field and three years related experience.
Job Summary:
To perform a wide variety of professional duties in the coordination of the resident and fellowship programs in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
Job Duties:
- Coordinates the appointment and processing of employee records for all new residents and fellows. including verification of credentials.
- Maintains current employee records for all residents and fellows.
- Coordinates new appointments for House staff, assuring all licensing requirements are current and in compliance.
- Acts as liaison with state board, agencies and institutional departments.
- Participates in budget formulation and controls disbursement.
- Supervises the completion of surveys and has direct involvement in special projects for administration.
- Adheres to internal controls established for department.
- Provides support for and meets regularly with the program manager and program directors to attain program goals and objectives and improve the effectiveness of medical education
- Ability to operate independently as a results-oriented, decision maker capable of maintaining professional relationships with all levels of institutional personnel. Possess excellent verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills to ensure the professional achievement of Institutional and Departmental strategic planning and development.
- Planning, organization, and promotion of residency related events, including annual graduation, retreats, and workshops.
- Works directly with the GME Office, program directors, residents and fellows to meet ACGME requirements necessary to maintain continued accreditation.
- Performs related duties as required.

Experience working with educational programs.
Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
