Social Worker, LCSW, Psychiatry/Behavioral Science (Partial Remote)
Minimum Qualification
- Master’s degree in social work from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
At least two (2) years of experience in a medical or behavioral health setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing services to patients involved in substance recovery treatment.
- Experience with group therapy.
Job Description:
Social Work Clinician - Practice is characterized by independent decision-making and a consistent approach to holistic patient care. The LCSW functions within the interdisciplinary team and initiates action to address patient care concerns. Serves as a clinical leader and has broad experience and advanced knowledge and skills. To provide evidence-based psychotherapy services to patients in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in an outpatient setting.
Job Duties:
- Provide psychotherapy services to child, adolescent and adult patients in the Department’s outpatient clinics.
- Demonstrate knowledge and use of evidence-based treatment techniques in professional practice to address therapeutic issues.
- Document assessments and progress notes in the patient’s electronic medical record in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Analyze therapeutic techniques and implement changes to improve quality of service.
- Adhere to internal controls established for the department.
- Perform related duties as required.
