Coordinator I, Physical Therapy and Rehab Science (Casual work up to 19hrs per wk)
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent; 1 year of related experience.
Job Description:
To provide coordination of all phases and activities associated with special university or community programs.
Job Duties:
- Coordinates and processes employee and student travel arrangements, reimbursements, as well as non-PO vouchers for the Global Outreach and Community (GOC) Program, ensuring compliance with current Departmental and Institutional policies and procedures.
- Coordinates purchasing of needed supplies for the GOC program.
- Coordinates activities of specified projects in support of programs aims, goals, or objectives.
- Consults with the Assistant Dean of Global Outreach and Community to plan procedures and events.
- Work remotely, on-campus, and at Galveston community events as needed.
- Interprets program and services to individuals or groups in the community.
- Adheres to internal controls established for the department.
- Performs related duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the UTMB Travel process is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, and Power is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience working with Excel spreadsheets.
- Prior administrative support experience.
Preferred Skills/Competency:
- Proficiency with Outlook, TEAMS, and Zoom for scheduling meetings.
- Comfortable with Excel for budget tracking, student activity tracking, etc.
- Strong collaborative nature and communication skills to work with different UTMB departments and community partners in person, virtually, and over the phone.
- Able to interface with a variety of databases and programs that support faculty and student travel and scheduling.
Salary Range:
Hourly rate Commensurate with experience.
