Certified Hyperbaric Technician (CHT) - UTMB Health Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Clinic (GALVESTON/HOUSTON)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).


• Completed the approved Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS, National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology (NBDHMT), or Department of Defense introductory course pre/post hire.


• Hyperbaric Chambers Acrylics course training.


• Existing Safe Director training course completion (Will be required if not already completed).


 

Preferred Qualifications: Three (3) years of related experience.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS OR CERTIFICATIONS (Required): Certification as a hyperbaric technician (CHT); BLS certification; Completes initial/annual skills check lists as required by the facility  NOTE:  CHS (“Certified Hyperbaric Specialist”) designation is not accepted.

SALARY RANGE:  $20.62 - $30.92/hr commensurate with experience
