Administrative Coordinator, Occupational Therapy (Galveston)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and two years related experience.
Job Description:
To provide professional guidance, supervision, and coordination in the administrative duties of a department.
Job Duties:
- Plans, organizes, and coordinates administrative duties.
- Interacts with other executives, administrators, faculty members, students and employees as required.
- Responsible for coordinating all operations related to student admissions via OTCAS.
- Coordinates faculty and staff travel; organize procurement of equipment and supplies; tracks department expenses and account balances using DataMart and internal reconciliation spreadsheets.
- Interprets rules, regulations, and policies and executes as applicable.
- Assists administrative manager in establishing and attaining goals and objectives.
- Conducts special projects and reports.
- Adheres to internal controls established for department.
- Performs related duties as required.
Preferred Skills/Competency:
- My Star experience as related to Student Admissions, Curriculum Management and Self Service modules
- PeopleSoft experience as related to ePro, Grants and Travel modules
- Strong organization skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
EQUIPMENT:
Standard office equipment.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Standard hospital, clinical and/or office environment. (Onsite)
Salary Range:
($53,280 - $66,600) Commensurate with experience.
