Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and seven years of related experience.

Specific Job Related Duties:

***This selected candidate will function in a "working manager" capacity.  The role will require lead development duties and will have management responsibilities as well. The ideal candidate will be a gifted programmer and have a coach’s/mentor’s presence about them, with an experienced eye for organization and standards.

Additional responsibilities include the following:

Design, develop, and maintain data-driven software applications. Perform all aspects of software design and development with emphasis on performance, scalability, coding, caching, security, encryption, session state management, error logging and testing. Primary requirements for this position are knowledge of the MS .NET Framework technology stack, Visual Studio, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server and Oracle enterprise class databases and service-oriented architecture.

Major Duties

  • Plans and directs the development, implementation and modification of programming languages, information storage and retrieval systems, computer operating systems, large application systems, remote console and remote time-shared-access software.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code.
  • Recommends and implements standard programming procedures.
  • Collaborate, communicate, and interact with a diverse software development team consisting of health care providers, IT specialists, and other developers to translate business problems into software requirements and software requirements into functional applications.
  • Develop service-oriented applications with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
  • Develop web applications with ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, AJAX, and related technologies.
  • Develop services and data tier components that integrate multiple disparate sources of data using Language Integrated Query (LINQ) and MS Entity Framework.
  • Maintain and manage code streams and branches, as well as work items in Team Foundation Server (TFS) using templates for iterative development.
  • Creates and maintains software systems.
  • Participates in network planning.
  • Prepares justifications for facility requirements and improvements.
  • Evaluates system performance according to current requirements and long-range plans.
  • Designs common data bases and selects and programs data base software.
  • Trains personnel.
  • Presents technical briefings and acts as technical consultant to user management.
  • Participates in the formulation and implementation of departmental standards and policies.
  • Adheres to internal controls established for department.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Preferred Skills/Compentencies:

  • C# programming language
  • Knowledge and experience with Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC)
  • Knowledge of the MS .NET Framework technology stack
  • Visual Studio
  • Web Development with ASP.NET and/or MVC
  • Programming against SQL Server and Oracle back ends
  • Service oriented architecture development
  • Experience with software project cost and schedule estimation.

Preferred Work Experience:

  • Seven years related experience, with 5+ years of experience with C# programming language.
  • Object-oriented programming language experience also desirable.

Preferred Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday 8AM – 5PM

Location: Baybrook Office and/or Remotely

Salary Range:

From $120,000.00 To $140,000.00 Annually
