Senior Administrative Manager - Business Development & Marketing
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and 4 years of related experience.
Job Summary:
Provides senior-level managerial oversight to a department or division in regards to planning, fiscal activities, business operations, and/or administrative functions.
Job Duties:
Office Management & Administrative Assistance:
- Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the executive’s behalf
- Managing the executive’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters
- Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records
- Performing minor accounting duties, including account reconciliations, as required
- Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, preparing agendas, and organizing catering when necessary
- Departmental Timekeeper
- Process travel/purchase orders in the system
- Act as Key Control Officer and Trusted Requestor
- Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner
- Ensure supplies are properly stocked, orders are placed timely manner, and procurement requirements are met
- Responsible for assisting with budget preparations, as needed
- Ad hoc needs (other duties as assigned)
Health Plans Administration:
- Answer incoming call center questions from customers about insurance policies and insurance coverage issues related to UTMB and/or UTMB Healthcare Systems, Inc. (UTMB HCS) programs, as well as consumer complaints and general inquiries
- Process enrollment packets for new members
- Assist with monthly billing and reporting
- Send marketing emails and schedule on-site visits as needed to discuss the program with potential new members
- Work with department colleagues, internal/external department staff, and vendors, and the program’s Third Party Administrator (TPA) related to validation, verification, and submission of medical claims
- Liaise between department colleagues and external department staff to resolve issues and answer questions from medical professionals and healthcare facilities regarding benefits and eligibility, billing and claims, clinical authorizations, and explanation of payments
- Ad hoc needs (other duties as assigned)
Salary Range:
Actual salary commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule:
Partial Remote to be determined by the department. Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and as needed on occasion.
