Research Technician (Ophthalmology - Galveston)
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in basic science or equivalent; 1 year related experience.
Job Description:
To provide technical skills in performing laboratory experiments and procedures.
Job Duties:
The Research Technician will maintain, breed, and genotype mouse colonies, receive and organize reagents and supplies, prepare lab reagents, assist lab members and the Principal Investigator (PI) with experimentation and support lab paperwork and inspections. Work will be conducted in the PI’s laboratory (Building 21, Rooms 4.600, 4.602, and 4.604) as well as in shared laboratory spaces (Building 21, Rooms 4.500, 4.502, 4.506A, and 4.506D).
Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
