Research Associate I, Neurology
Min Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in basic science or equivalent; no experience
Specific Job Related Duties:
- Cell culture development
- Maintain lab for rat, mouse, Drosophila experiments
- Ensure environmental safety compliance and other compliance as and when needed.
- Maintain lab inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Have computer proficiency to develop databases and maintain records.
- Cataloging and maintaining human and rodent tissue banks which will require proficiency in databasing and associated bookkeeping skills that is routine in drug development.
- Prepare biological assays and conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Maintain records of all tests performed and data collected and provide preliminary analysis of results.
- Assist in the compilation and tabulation of data and analysis of final data.
- Ensure the accurate assembly, calibration, operation and modification of a variety of laboratory equipment as defined by appropriate guidelines.
- Providing training as and when needed for rotating students and other visiting scientists.
- Adhere to internal controls established for department.

Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences preferred with bench experience in animal handling, organizational skills and Good Lab Practices
