Program Manager Residency Training - Obstetrics/Gynecology MFM and UPRS Fellowships (Onsite)
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field. 2 years related experience.
Job Summary:
To supervise the Residency Coordinators and oversee the day-to-day operations of all residency programs within the department; to serve as a liaison with the Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME).
Job Duties:
- Providing advanced secretarial support to faculty and house staff.
- Submitting required weekly reports to the ACGME/UTMB GME and ABOG Offices.
- Regularly interfacing with house staff.
- Understanding and implementing program requirements (ACGME, ABOG).
- Maintaining certifications, licensure, and credentialing files for fellows.
- Organizing and managing conferences, fellow application reviews, fellow recruitment, and orientation.
- Managing faculty and fellow calendars and assisting with scheduling and coordinating meetings, lectureships, and travel.
- Providing support to fellows as needed for ACGME/GME and staffing requirements.
- Assisting with credentialing/onboarding of new fellows as well as those who go on outside rotations.
- Processing of PeopleSoft (reimbursements, travel, vouchers, PO’s, Internal Services), KRONOS (time, attendance).
- Managing records retention for all aspects of the fellowship.
- Organizing and managing educational activities such as, but not limited to, new fellow orientation when needed.
- Overseeing fellow, fellow-related, and faculty budgets.
- Understanding grants and Endowments when it may apply to a fellowship program.
- Participating in creating and maintaining External site agreements and international contracts.
- Understanding of research structure, function and process as it applies to the process for a thesis in a fellowship program.
- Coordinating the components of a Masters program within a fellowship.
- Understanding and participating in fellowship financial budgeting.
Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
