Postdoctoral Fellow - Microbiology And Immunology
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Plan and perform experiments independently
- Prepare lab reports
- Writes protocol
- Interacts with graduate students
- Capable of presenting data at meeting
- Ability to plan and perform experiments independently and with others as a team
- Ability to observe and record experiments/research and report accurately
- Writing skills for protocols, reports, journal manuscripts and funding applications
- Mentoring and teaching skills for interaction with graduate students
- Presentation and communication skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D., M.D. or Doctoral equivalent in any field. Scientific research experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly motivated individual with interests in basic and/or translational research directly related of COVID-19 or Pan-CoVs
- Working experience under BSL-3 and animal BSL-3 high containment laboratories are highly preferable, but not a prerequisite
- Familiar with various methodologies routinely used in the basic virology, immunology, biology, and biochemistry
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
