Postdoctoral Fellow - Microbiology And Immunology
Job Description:
A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available immediately to investigate host immunity, vaccine immunogenicity/safety and the pathogenesis of emerging RNA viruses, including arboviruses and respiratory viruses. The successful candidate should be highly motivated with a demonstrable publication record in virology, and/or immunology. She or he is expected to have good communication and organizational skills. Prior experience with animal model (mouse) studies is preferred but is not required.
Essential Job Functions:
- Establishes research objectives and methodology, designs procedures, conducts research projects, analyzes, and interprets results.

- Preparation and publication of manuscripts in peer review journals.
- Ensures proper training of Research staff, and other junior researchers.
- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure
- Data and Statistical analysis
- Ability to manage research projects with minimal supervision
- Writing and presentation skills
- Problem solving and creativity
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD, MD, or DVM in related field with 0 to 2 years of prior Postdoctoral research experience.
Salary:
Commensurate with experience.
