Postdoctoral Fellow II, Ob/Gyn-Perinatal Research
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D., M.D. or Doctoral equivalent in any field and two (2) years of completed Postdoctoral Fellow research experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prospective applicants should have a Ph.D. with relevant experience primarily in organ on a chip development, and cell biology. Experience in exosome-based studies will also be beneficial. Besides regular lab techniques (western blotting, ELISA, PCR, flow cytometry, fluorescence staining and imaging), experience in primary cell culture, RNAseq and OMICs data analysis, confocal and electron microscopy, gene silencing (Crispr gene modification/siRNA) would be advantageous. Mouse handling experience would also be beneficial. Candidates will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary collaborations, participate in lab meetings and train and teach new students lab techniques and protocols, prepare manuscript, and present and assist with grant writing. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and must be able to function independently, think critically and creatively, and be technically innovative, as well as participating as part of a dynamic team.
