MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy licensed to practice in the United States with a clinical Board Certification or Board Eligibility.
  • The candidate must have training and operational experience in Aerospace Medicine

SKILLS/TRAINING

  • Superior communication, analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision making skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop manuscripts and technical papers and publish work in peer-reviewed scientific journals
  • Demonstrated oral presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively both in small teams and independently
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks and seek direction on competing priorities
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to changing requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Board certified in Aerospace Medicine
  • Training and experience in performing systematic reviews
  • Experience in interpretation of probablistic risk assessment (PRA) reports or providing data to support PRA models
  • Background in medical research
  • Knowledge of and/or experience working with EndNote reference/citation management software
  • Demonstrated collaboration with medical administration and/or university administration
