Physician - Aerospace Medicine Research (NASA, ExMC) - Prev Med & Pop Health
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy licensed to practice in the United States with a clinical Board Certification or Board Eligibility.
- The candidate must have training and operational experience in Aerospace Medicine
SKILLS/TRAINING
- Superior communication, analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop manuscripts and technical papers and publish work in peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Demonstrated oral presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively both in small teams and independently
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary setting
- Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks and seek direction on competing priorities
- Organizational skills
- Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Board certified in Aerospace Medicine
- Training and experience in performing systematic reviews
- Experience in interpretation of probablistic risk assessment (PRA) reports or providing data to support PRA models
- Background in medical research
- Knowledge of and/or experience working with EndNote reference/citation management software
- Demonstrated collaboration with medical administration and/or university administration
