Patient Care Technician I - L&D - PBL/PRN Flex Shift - Working up to 19hrs per week/no benefits
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
High school or equivalent AND completion of one of the following technical programs:
- Completion of a recognized Nurse Assistant program OR
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program OR
- Completion of Medical Corpsman program OR
- Completion of EMT program OR
- Completion of UTMB Hospital Aide training program OR
- 2 years of experience in a direct patient care environment OR
- Is enrolled in a recognized School of Nursing and has completed the first semester of education which contains clinical concepts and health assessment or the equivalent.
- Current BLS required.
SALARY RANGE:
From $12.23 to $15.29 per hour, commensurate with experience.
PREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
Prefer inpatient nursing assistant experience or a current nursing student.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Must be flexible to work as needed. This position is working up to 19.99 hours per week with no benefits.
