Parking Controller - University Parking Facilities
Minimum Qualifications:
High school or equivalent. No experience is required. Valid Texas class C driver's license.
Job Description:
To provide assistance in guiding vehicular traffic and enforcing parking and driving regulations.
Job Duties:
Primarily maintains the appearance of the surface lots and garages working as a team member.
- Maintains the appearance of the parking facilities by picking up trash, cleaning, and monitoring
- Patrol parking lots for unauthorized vehicles.
- Observes traffic and parking violations and issues campus citations for infractions.
- Assists staff, employees, and visitors by giving directions and parking information.
- Submits daily activity reports.
- Adheres to internal controls established for the department.
- Performs related duties as required.
Equipment:
Equipment used for cleaning and maintaining parking facilities, parking ticket equipment, and state vehicles.
Working Environment:
Possible exposure to adverse weather conditions.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm and as needed on occasion.
Salary Range:
Actual salary based on experience.
