Mental Health Clinician II, Psychiatry/Behavioral Science Mental Health Clinician II
Min Qualifications
Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work. Current licensure as a Professional Counselor, Psychological Associate, or Clinical Social Worker with five (5) years experience as a LPA, LPC or LCSW.
Specific Job Related Duties
- Triage calls received by UTMB’s CPAN team.
- Develop and maintain a database of available regional mental health/behavioral health services.
- Provide consultation to Primary Care providers enrolled in program requesting recommendations for behavioral interventions or education.
- Provide school-based behavioral health services to children and adolescents via telemedicine to include brief therapy.
- Assist with referrals for behavioral health services in region.
- Demonstrate competency and skill in communicating with patients, families and school personnel.
- Participate in team meetings and provide status updates to team members and leadership.
- Participate in conferences, workshops, and trainings related to your role in CPAN.
- Assist with maintaining project data and required reports
Preferred License/Certificate
- Licensed as an LPA, LCSW or LPC in the state of Texas.
- Experience working with children and adolescents.
- Must have proficient computer skills.
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
