Manager, Laboratory Services – Core Laboratory Operations

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with five (5) years related experience. Must have previous leadership experience. Must fulfill overall qualifications as a General Supervisor under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA). Certification from either the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), American Medical Technologists (AMT), or the American Board of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ABHI) or equivalent certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, or an appropriately related field, from a regionally accredited college/university.
• MT/MLS certification by American Society for Clinical Pathology ASCP.
• Master’s in laboratory field or Business preferred
• Five years of full time acceptable clinical laboratory experience in the U.S., Canada or a CAP/The Joint Commission accredited laboratory. This experience must be acquired post baccalaureate degree and be under the supervision of a pathologist certified by the American Board of Pathology or an appropriately board certified medical scientist.
• Leadership skills essential to lead and work in an effective and collaborative team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a diverse and multi-functional team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
