Minimum Qualifications:
High school or equivalent; no experience required.
Specific Job Related Duties:
- Performs simple, routine laboratory procedures.
- Cleans and maintains laboratory equipment and work areas.
- Prepares variety of basic chemical solutions used for experimental purposes.
- Performs related clerical duties such as updating statistical records, labeling test tubes and bottles, and performing errands.
- Mixes cleaning solutions according to specifications.
- Adheres to internal controls established for department.
- Performs related duties as required
- Work in the Gross Anatomy Lab handling cadavers for medical school teaching
- Interact with local funeral home on acceptance and removal of cadavers
- Participate in the maintenance of anatomical specimens
Standard Working Enviornment:
- Heavy lifting is required with this position (approximately 200 lbs.)
Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience
