Hearing Screener, Infant Screening
Min Qualifications:
High school or equivalent. Must be able to successfully complete the following training requirements: Automated hearing screening, Infection control, universal precautions, and CPR. 60 hrs of college credit preferred, health-care experience preferred
Good computer skills, including data entry; basic verbal skills; good interpersonal skills; able to use automated optoacoustic emissiom and auditory brainstem response screening equipment.
Specific Job Related Duties:
- Performs automated hearing screenings.
- Obtains and enters patient demographic information in database and screening device.
- Downloads screening results on discharge planning sheet in the medical record.
- Completes and distributes screening result letters and informational brochure.
- Performs daily biological equipment calibration to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Maintains patient's privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times.
- Performs related duties as required
Salary Range:
- Salary commensurate with experience.
