HCSS Polysomnographer
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
EQUIPMENT:
Data acquisition equipment, positive airway pressure devices, cardiopulmonary monitoring devices, electrodes, sensors, pressure transducers, thermisters, end tidal CO2 monitor, video monitoring equipment, microphones, and other equipment commonly used in a sleep laboratory. Standard office equipment.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/LOCATION OF POSITION:
· Standard pulmonary sleep laboratory and general patient care units.
· Exposed to considerable patient contact.
· May be exposed to such occupational hazards as communicable diseases.
· Some moderately heavy lifting required.
· Some lifting or assisting of non-ambulatory patients required.
· May be exposed to uncooperative or disruptive patients.
