Exercise Physiologist - UTMB Center for Cardiac Rehab (Casual Appointment)
JOB DESCRIPTION: To facilitate healthier outcomes for cardiopulmonary/cardiovascular patients by offering fitness and health related programs. Evaluate and execute exercise plan for each cardiopulmonary patient while focusing on risk reduction and behavior intervention and modification
CERTIFICATIONS: CPR certification required and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
TRAVEL: This position is based in Galveston but will travel to other campuses as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s in a health-related field. One year of clinical experience. CPR certification required and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire. American College of Sports Medicine certification required within 6 months of hire.
Preferred:
Master’s in a health-related field.
SALARY RANGE: $20.39 - $30.59/hr commensurate with experience.
