MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Library or Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution with 1-3 years of post-MLS work experience.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript; some knowledge of XML and linked data standards.
- Familiarity with library systems including library databases, Electronic Resource Management Systems, EZproxy and Open URL link resolvers.
- Some familiarity with electronic resource standards and protocols such as SUSHI and COUNTER and how these standards interact with library resources and discovery systems.
- Experience conducting user testing.
- Knowledge of metadata workflows.
- Experience with discovery systems, user testing and content management systems.
