Coordinator II, SOM Physician Assistant Studies
Min Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent and three years related experience.
Specific Job Related Duties:
- Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of a program directly related to management or general business operation
- Track/verify/post assignments or assignment-related items including grades, clinical assignments; contact/communicate with sites/students; credential students; confirm licensure of preceptors; and work on other tasks associated with the management of the clinical year
- Prepare, follow-up, execute, and track affiliation agreements for all active and potential UTMB PA program clinical year sites in a timely manner
- Gather data for review and analysis of clinical year program and outcomes
- Adhere to internal controls established for the department and university on the clinical year by accrediting, licensing and other agencies or institutions
- Type, copy, file departmental correspondence, tests, syllabi, reports, summaries, etc.
- Assist in management of the program’s website and handbooks
- Assist supervisor in carrying out routine office duties and other activities related to the program, as needed
- Insures the goals and objectives specified are accomplished in accordance with prescribed priorities, deadlines and funding conditions
- Provides technical advice to assist in solving problems
- Serves as resource and subject matter expert
- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure
