College Intern

Minimum Qualifications:

 Currently attending college in pursuit of bachelor’s degree or higher.

Job Description:

An internship that offers hands-on training and beneficial experience, enabling individuals to develop essential skills in a professional environment.

Essential Job Duties:

• Provides support to Environmental Health & Safety department functions including but not limited to inspections, training, equipment testing, and calibration.
• Engages in different work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity, structured to enable the intern to gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform professionally.
• Receives guidance, training, and mentoring from professionals in planning and executing activities and assignments.
• Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
• Performs related duties as required.

Working Environment:

• Standard hospital, clinical, laboratory and/or office environments.
• Potential exposure to hazardous conditions and/or materials and involves strenuous activity such as walking, lifting, and moving of material.
