Clinical Skills Training Coordinator, Health Education Center
Min Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent and 3 years' related experience with 2 years' experience in healthcare education.
Specific Job Related Duties:
- Collaborates with the Assistant and Associate Deans and faculty on educational projects, placing special emphasis on proctoring needs.
- Work as a liaison across- numerous departments planning and performing activities while exercising independent judgment and analysis.
- Assists in scheduling, organizing, and implementing simulated clinical skills training activities within the Health Education Center.
- Organizes and provides training for HEC technology needs for faculty and staff
- Organize and deliver observed structured clinical examinations and taped patient encounter orientations.
- Collaborating with course directors and appropriate faculty to plan and deliver simulated clinical skills training activities and assessments.
- Liaison with all clerkship coordinators, chief residents, and faculty in the scheduling of clinical assignments.
- Coordinates all aspects of the HEC education process including course schedules and room scheduling, exam administration and grading, student and course evaluations, student recruitment activities, assessment tools and acts as a department resource.
- Coordinates departmental special events.
- Coordinates committee meetings.
- Provides administrative support for the Health Education Staff.
Salary Range:
$40,000 - $0,000 salary commensurate with experience
