Clinical Instructor - Ophthalmology
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
This is a training position for the retina non-ACGME program that holds a faculty appointment. The primary responsibilities of this position will include the following as assigned: Under the direction of trained retina faculty member, provide retina services at Galveston and Mainland clinics in accordance with OVS departmental policies. Will participate in research with the guidance of a clinical investigator up to 1 day/week of dedicated research time. Teaching duties will include participation in grand rounds, and mentoring of medical students and residents. This position will be expected to maintain excellent patient satisfaction and high ethical and professional standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate should be a graduate of an accredited medical school, have completed an ACGME approved residency training program in ophthalmology, with interest and training in retina, and be eligible for or have a Texas Medical License without restrictions.
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
