Clinical Instructor, Internal Medicine-General Medicine
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Chief Resident will represent the medical residents and work closely with them to optimize medical care and their training. In addition, the Chief Resident will participate in departmental and hospital committees, organize morning report daily, help to create and implement Department of Internal Medicine policies, implement the monthly ward schedules, and serve as the first line of reference/appeal for all resident concerns or disputes. The Chief Resident will serve as inpatient ward attending for two to four, two-week blocks and precept in the general medicine clinic one half day each week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
MD degree, Board certification or Board eligibility in Internal Medicine
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
