Clinical and Science Lead - NASA ExMC (RN, NP, or MD) - Prev Med & Pop Health
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- RN, NP, or MD with current licensure, or related professional medical education and background.
- Minimum 5 years medical operational experience.
- NASA or Aerospace medicine experience.
- Superior communication, analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop manuscripts and technical papers and publish work in peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Demonstrated oral presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively both in small teams and independently
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary setting
- Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks and seek direction on competing priorities
- Organizational skills
- Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with NASA Human Research Program and/or spaceflight medical operations.
- Formal experience in management of doctors
- Familiarity with systems engineering processes
- Familiarity with Integrated Medical Model (or similar probabilistic medical risk assessment tool)
- Knowledge of and/or experience working with EndNote reference/citation management software
- Utilization of Microsoft OneNote and TEAMS
- Proven team creation between customers, Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPAs), subcontractors, and other Human Health and Performance (HHPC) contractors
