Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate of Science degree or completion of a Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent training. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cardiac Cath and/or Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
  • One year of procedural area experience

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS OR CERTIFICATIONS

Required:

  • ARRTR   and Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.

or

  •  RCIS
  • BLS / ACLS

JOB SUMMARY:

Scope:

Deliver high-quality patient care and technical expertise in Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology procedures. Assist with cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures, competently performing emergency interventions as needed, while adhering to established standards under the guidance of a credentialed invasive cardiologist or electrophysiologist.

Function: Functions may differ based on specialty between radiologic trained technologists and cardiovascular trained technologist.
