EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a Clinical Laboratory Science or Basic Science.
- Five (5) years related experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years' management experience in healthcare or laboratory environment.
- Technologist level certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP), the American Medical Technologists (AMT), the American Board of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ABHI) or equivalent certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a biorepository or similar laboratory.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Strong analytic and organizational skills.
- Ability to mentor and supervise staff effectively.
- Effective presentation skills for conveying data to physician and administrative staff.
- Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and make decisions quickly and independently.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team.
- Very strong interpersonal skills, including both verbal and written communication.
