Athletic Trainer GISD - Full time
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) accredited college or university
- Licensed Athletic Trainer in Texas
- Basic Life Support
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/EQUIPMENT
Standard athletic training room and team sports arenas to include but not limited to football fields, soccer fields, basketball courts and baseball fields. Standard hospital, clinical, laboratory and/or office environments. Travel requirements may include attendance at home and away games, attendance at athletic training rooms of contracted local schools and other physical demands of job. May be exposed to such occupational hazards as communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, ionizing & non-ionizing radiation, hazardous medications and disoriented or combative patients or others.
