MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8 years progressive professional level Human Resources experience.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10 years progressive professional level Human Resources experience.
  • HR experience in a public academic medical center with specific knowledge of Texas Government Code related to compensation and benefits.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is strongly desired
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SPHR or equivalent)

 

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated process improvement skills in complex environments.
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
