Associate Professor of Instruction - Clinical Laboratory Sciences
JOB DUTIES:
Teach Clinical Laboratory Sciences courses (lectures) to on-campus and distance MS/DCLS students.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Teach Clinical Laboratory Sciences courses (lectures) to on-campus and distance MS/DCLS students. Specifically, to teach:
- MSHP 5302 Scientific Writing
- CLLS 55319 Biostatistics
- CLLS 6306 Diagnostic Algorithms
CLLS 6031 DCLS Seminar 2
- Develop lesson plans, prepare presentations, and obtain visual aids for on campus and distance web-based courses, grade student papers, and practical examinations.
- Advise students (both on-campus and distance) on academic and research activities.
- Participate in scholarly, professional, and administrative service activities.
- Participate in departmental meetings and committee meetings, and other scholarly activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in health-related field and three years teaching experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctoral degree in health-related field and/or 3 years teaching experience.
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
