Assoc Dir Mental Hlth CMC
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- M.D., Board Certified in General Psychiatry. Preferred additional board eligibility or board certification in additional psychiatry subspecialty (e.g., forensic psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, consultation/liaison, addiction, consult and liaison psychiatry, or geriatric psychiatry).
- Two (2) years management experience and two (2) years of clinical experience.
- Full, unrestricted, medical license.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Five (5) years of correctional, forensic, or public sector psychiatry experience (inpatient, outpatient or both).
- Additional current board eligibility or board certification in a psychiatry subspecialty (e.g., forensic psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, consultation/liaison, addiction, consult and liaison psychiatry, or geriatric psychiatry).
- Three (3) years clinical or administrative supervisory experience (supervision of other psychiatrists, pysch midlevels, or other qualified mental health professionals).
- Past work on committees (e.g., Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Medical Staff/Hospital Staff).
- CCHP-MH (Certified Correctional Health Professional in Mental Health) certification by NCCHC.
- Experience conducting peer reviews and quality improvement and performing chart reviews.
Salary is commensurate with years of relevant work experience.
