Assistant Professor, (N-T Trk Clin), Pediatric Endocrinology
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch seeks a faculty in Pediatric Endocrinology whose primary responsibility will be providing high quality clinical services as a Pediatric Endocrinologist and provide inpatient consultations and call coverage for hospitalized newborns, infants, and children at UTMB Hospitals at our Galveston, Clear Lake and Angleton campuses. This position will work closely with the department’s new collaboration with the Bright Bodies Program which endorses comprehensive, intensive behavioral interventions for children 6 years and older with obesity issues and will assist with supervising and teaching medical students and residents.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate should be a graduate of an approved medical school, have completed an approved residency training program in Pediatrics, and have a Texas Medical License without restrictions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
