ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Teach Masters of Pathologists' Assistant courses to graduate students. CLLS 5701: Patha Clinical Rotation I CLLS 5174: Applied Clinical and Anatomic Pathology I MSHP 5322: Educational Laboratory Practice CLLS 5175: Applied Clinical and Anatomic Pathology II CLLS 5702: Patha Clinical Rotation II CLLS 5703: Patha Clinical Rotation III CLLS 5280: Education and Communication in Pathology MSHP 5322: Educational Laboratory Clinical 
  •  Develop lesson plans, prepare presentations, and obtain visual aids for distance web-based courses, and grade student papers.
  •  Advise students on academic and research activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Applicants must have a master’s degree in a health care administration field. ASCP-BOC certification as a Pathologists' Assistant.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Doctoral degree in health-related field and/or 3 years teaching experience.

Commensurate with experience.
