Administrative Coordinator, SON RISE Center
Min Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field; 3 years related experience
Specific Job Related Duties:
- Plans, organizes, and coordinates administrative duties.
- Performs personnel management functions such as recruitment, interviewing, and hiring.
- Schedules meetings and handles logistics for seminars, online and in-person meetings, workshops, conferences, and events as needed.
- Participates in grant related budget planning, development and monitoring.
- Coordinates procurement of equipment and supplies and manages all phases of acquisition cycle for grant related purchases.
- Interprets rules, regulations, and policies and executes as applicable.
- Assists administrator and RISE Center Director in establishing and attaining goals and objectives.
- Conducts special projects and reports.
- Manages office staff.
- Adheres to internal controls established for department and SON RISE Center.
- Performs related duties as required.
Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience
Preferred Work Experience:
Familiarity with UTMB-specific HR, financial and procurement processes, policies and software programs
