Administrative Coordinator, Preventive Medicine and Population Health
Min Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field; 3 years related experience.
Specific Job Related Duties:
- Coordinate departmental human resource functions in collaboration with Business Manager and Senior Administrative Manager; provide administrative support for the recruitment and selection process.
- Process internal expenses through the service center.
- Manage performance evaluation schedule for faculty and staff.
- Coordinate departmental information services activities.
- Maintain and manage departmental personnel files.
- Staff and coordinate the APT committee and process (including Post-Tenure Review).
- Participate in and staff PMCH Executive Committee, Faculty Meeting, Faculty Search Committees, and other ad hoc committees as required.
- Motivate and promote teamwork among all classified employees.
- Coordinate the chair’s schedule, mail and appointments.
- Work with faculty and staff with respect to special projects, events, functions, polls, proposals, records, etc.
- Conduct and coordinate special projects and reports.
- Collect information, conduct research, and make recommendations to solve problems as they occur.
- Adhere to internal controls established for department as well as other duties as required supporting the mission and goals of the department and the University.
- Back up departmental administrative support staff as needed.
- Performs related duties as required.

Preferred Skill/Competency:
Proficient in MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Scheduler), strong oral and written communication skills, solid organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities.
