Administrative Coordinator, Internal Med-General Medicine
Min Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field; 3 years related experience.
Specific Job Related Duties:
- Provide high level of administrative support to the faculty and staff of the Division of General Internal Medicine
- Coordinate physician schedules for ambulatory and inpatient settings; identify potential scheduling conflicts and seek resolution
- Prepare and submit requisitions, purchase orders, invoice payments, travel authorizations and employee reimbursements.
- Monitor discretionary and professorship accounts, reconcile expenditures monthly
- Assist with Medical Staff appointment and reappointment process
- Maintain records of faculty licensure and certifications, ensuring all are current
- Update and maintain faculty CVs
- Maintain division website
- Serve as Kronos timekeeper for division faculty and staff
- Maintain files in accordance with the current Records Retention schedule
- Schedule, coordinate, and organize appointments, meetings, and rooms.
- Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks, such as making copies, filing, and faxing.
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrate ability to perform, with minimal direction, administrative duties at the highest level while exercising considerable discretion and judgment
- Demonstrate skill and proficiency in the utilization of various software and web-based applications, spreadsheets, and databases
- Possess excellent verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate independently as a results-oriented, decision maker capable of maintaining professional relationships with all levels of institutional personnel
